Caroline Walker is one of six artists featured in this temporary exhibition at Westminster Hall at the Houses of Parliament, the location of the Lying-in-State of Queen Elizabeth II.
In 2022, Walker was invited to observe the ceremony and the formalities surrounding the
occasion. Her triptych ‘Ceremonies of Mourning’ captures the women who contributed to the Lying-in-State.
