Brandon Logan features in the forthcoming group show, Heat 2.
The artists in this exhibition have been selected based on a shared interest in economy and simplicity, in an abstract language suggesting a meaning or attitude, and in the work echoing something of landscape and of an attitude of contemplation.
The show follows a previous exhibition titled Heat, which was hosted by Zembla Gallery, Hawick, Scotland in April 2019. The work in the previous exhibition was made as a response to an experience or a sense of heat. The use of heat as a linking factor for the work in this exhibition has broadened and taken on new meanings, while the original rationale for selection of the artists remains the same.
