Women’s Work (2025, 60 mins) is a new documentary directed by BAFTA award-winning filmmaker Nicola Black, about internationally acclaimed Scottish artist Caroline Walker.
The hour-long film follows Walker over the past 5 years as she creates work around themes of childcare and nurture in relation to women’s work. The film features the artist’s major painting Theatre, 2021, recently acquired by the National Galleries of Scotland and on view as part of their free displays of modern and contemporary art at Modern One.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the artist.
