Hayley Barker’s second solo presentation in China, Permanent Green, is currently on show at K11 Art Foundation, curated by Cynthia Jiang and Davida Nemeroff.

The exhibition features eleven new paintings, depicting the gardens of Barker's friends and family throughout California and Oregon, as well as Claude Monet’s garden in Giverny, France. The paintings are meditations on Barker’s relationship with each garden’s steward, as well as the artist’s speculation on what it might be like to regularly occupy these spaces.
