Katie Paterson and Susan Derges are exhibiting work alongside a wide selection of other artists in RWA's major exhibition entitiled Earth: Digging Deep in British Art 1781 - 2022. The exhibition features artwork spanning over four centuries and examines how attititudes towards landscapes, and artists' approaches to them have evolved and changed over time. With work spanning from the 18th century of pastoral idylls, to work confronting the climate emergency, the exhibition considers not only the Earth's magnificence and abundance, but its fragility and mistreatment.
Alongside the exhibition is a publication by Sansom and Co with over 50 images of work and three essays.
