Katie Paterson's first institutional show in China is currently on view at UCCA Dune. 

 

With deep time as its guiding thread, the exhibition brings together works created over nearly two decades that explore nature, time, and the cosmos, alongside three new commissions for UCCA.

 

Working with tangible materials such as fossils, tree ash, sand, water, light, and scent, Paterson evokes vast geological epochs, distant celestial bodies, and invisible natural cycles, inviting visitors on a voyage through space and time shaped by scientific imagination and Romanticism.
