Caroline Walker's show Mothering, previously on show Pallant House Gallery and the Hepworth Wakefield, is now on view at Newlyn Art Gallery.
The exhibition brings together works made over the past five years with new paintings exploring themes of motherhood and early-years care, as Harriet Baker wrote in The Financial Times, Walker's paintings 'reflect powerfully on the labour involved in bringing children in to the world, both seen and unseen, paid and unpaid...care begins at the beginning, the web by which we are all connected.'
