James Hugonin
Three Fluctuations in Contrary Rhythm
Published by Ingleby Gallery in 2009, James Hugonin’s screenprints – conceived as a triptych but made on three separate sheets of paper – represent a significant body of work by the artist. Hugonin has worked with screenprinting in the past, most recently in 1992, but never before have his print projects been so closely connected to his painting practice or so technically challenging.
Each print is a 30-colour screenprint with base colours derived from the primary colours and a fluctuating sequence of 24 opaque and semi-transparent colours overlaid.
The full set of three prints is available for £7,200 inc VAT (unframed). A limited number of prints from the edition are available individually. To purchase an individual print, please use the ‘buy now’ button under the image.
Please note; the prices listed include a local sales tax at 20%. For online orders outwith the European Community, this tax will be deducted from your shopping basket, when setting your delivery location.
