Ellsworth Kelly - Editions: 1972 - 2005

17 March - 22 April 2006

At the beginning of 2006, three exhibitions were devoted to Ellsworth Kelly, one of the most singular and influential American artists of the 20th century. Tate St Ives hosted an exhibition of paintings chosen from their own and private collections alongside a selection of plant lithographs; the Serpentine Gallery in London showed 25 recent paintings, whilst in Edinburgh we presented a retrospective exhibition of Kelly's editions from 1972-2005.
