New Public Art Project by Callum Innes
Posted On 29 05 2012Plans have been unveiled for a major public art commission by Callum Innes as part of the programme for the 2012 Edinburgh Art Festival (2 August – 2 September 2012).
Callum Innes works for the very first time with light, in a simple intervention which floods a dark tunnel on Calton Road with colour to reveal the magnificent architecture of the Regent Bridge above.
This will be Innes’ first public art piece and is produced working with architect and lighting specialist Gavin Fraser of FOTO-MA Lighting Architects and supported by Edinburgh World Heritage and Baillie Gifford.
