Katie Paterson in commission for Exhibition Road Show

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea’s Exhibition Road Show

Campo del Cielo; Field of the Sky: Katie Paterson

As a tiny planet, older than the Earth, the meteor makes its way through space for millennia; reaching the Earth it burns brightly before becoming static. Paterson will melt a Campo del Cielo meteorite in a foundry in Hackney before reforming it exactly as it was when it arrived on Earth.
