Billboard for Edinburgh: Kay Rosen
21 May 2015 - 30 September 2015
Kay Rosen’s is the latest artist to create a work for Ingleby Gallery’s public art project.
Rosen’s simple but powerful new text piece This Means War… draws our attention to the danger of global warming ahead of a crucial United Nations conference in Paris in December 2015.
Since the Kyoto Protocol expired in 2012, no formal international agreement has been reached to tackle climate change. The upcoming conference intends to set enforceable goals to reduce greenhouse emissions putting the world on track to a low-carbon, sustainable future while keeping a global temperature rise under two degrees Celsius.
Kay Rosen’s billboard will be on display until the end of September 2015.
As part of the project, Rosen will realise her image as a limited edition three-colour screenprint. For further information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
