Ryan Gander (b.1976) lives and works in London.
Solo exhibitions include Heralded as the new black, an exhibition at Ikon Gallery in Birmingham that traveled to South London Gallery and the Boijmans Museum, Rotterdam. Other recent solo shows include Stedelijk Museum Bureau, Amsterdam (2003), MUMOK, Vienna (2007) and CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts, San Francisco (2007).
In 2010, Gander won the prestigious Zurich Art Prize.
In Autumn 2011, Ryan Gander took part in Ingleby Gallery’s Billboard for Edinburgh project, creating a 10 x 13.5ft billboard installation and a new limited edition print.
